Forza Motorsport 2 Demo

Goddamn I love racing games. Forza Motorsport 2 got a demo released this week on Xbox Live Marketplace. 650 MB of racing bliss comes to us in a bundle which includes only one track but three different classes of cars and a total of 24 rides to jump into and blast around in. I did not play Forza Motorsport for Xbox when it came out two years ago because I have been a loyal Gran Tourismo player since the PS1 days. But it got great reviews, had tons of customization, and the one thing that GT never has had which is damage.

The demo looks fantastic. I am just using VGA cables, no HD or componant hookups at all, and Forza is still insanely detailed. Little things such as brake disks turning red from heating up and drivers in the cars moving and shifting like real life add to the perfection of world class game making. The driving and physics are dope, replays rule, and it is just as slick as they come. Expect Forza 2 to blow the doors off all the racing simulator competition out there when it drops on May 29th.
