Ghost Rider Review

I wish I could banish all movie-licensed video games to the depths of Hades to forever be played by the people that make them. Then I think that I could finally sleep at night. Ghost Rider follows the same garbage cookie cutter formula that all movie games do. Ever heard of a little title named God of War? If you have played that masterpiece then you will be able to pick up a controller and rock Ghost Rider instantly because it is the exact same game, but worse. It has the same control configuration (including the right analogue for dodging), the same button matching kills, the same everything. There is nothing original about this game. The sad thing is that it doesn’t even play as well as God of War so it makes it even worse. Enemy design is crap and insanely limited. You will see the same demons, ninjas, and clowns throughout the entire game. Graphics, story, and the length of this title are all poor. Ghost Rider was basically thrown together in time to coincide with the movie release as just another product for the marketing department to try and sell. As a gamer, avoid this game at al costs. If you pick this up as a Ghost Rider fan/collector, you might find it collecting more dust than playtime.
